Meet ILA Foundation LBG

ILA Foundation LBG (Limited by Guarantee), founded by Chief Williams in 2018, is a not-for-profit international group of humanitarians for Preservation of Indigenous Languages: Africa as prescribed by the United Nations Indigenous Language Year 2019 in concert with the United Nations Declaration Rights of Indigenous Peoples (DRIPS). Our mission is one of humanitarian interest, to uplift the status associated with African Languages whether at home, in education, and in society. In no way does this pose to eliminate mainstream languages; however, translation and interpretation of these languages help build greater understanding and respect for their use and value, as with any other Continent or Nation, is vital.

To highlight the importance and status associated with African languages, “We are the fabric, a network, by which culture, talent & human interest are combined.”

It’s about… DIGNITY, RESPECT & VALUE

The ILA Foundation LBG has garnered the interest of several countries regarding the importance of preserving Indigenous Languages: Africa, with effective engagement in programs/projects that can be translated into local languages. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Education
  • Trade & Industry
  • Women’s Empowerment
  • Youth Development
  • Entrepreneurship

Agri~Culture™ “The Art of Healthy Eating for Well-being” is a trademark of the ILA Foundation LBG in collaboration with San Francisco State University & Jeffrey Beckles and Associates, to promote an SDG (sustainable development goal). Chief Gloria Taylor Williams, Founder of the ILA Foundation LBG, an international not-for-profit and who lived, worked & trained in West Africa for many years, is honored to introduce a digital presentation, Agri~Culture™, the “Art of Healthy Eating for Well-being.”

Food Insecurity continues to grow all over the world. There is not enough educational information as to the relevance of what you eat in different kinds of fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuffs produced naturally that are extremely beneficial. Our health is our Wealth!

Let’s get back to our roots for improved food security from earth to table and improved health, which supports small-scale farmers. Cultivating foodstuffs is a commodity as any other industry that’s hands-on. This commodity helps build and maintain the framework and architecture our bodies require to function.  Every structure, human or otherwise, begins with a foundation.

We are dedicated to bringing about awareness in a digital presentation that displays a variety of foodstuffs, for improved health issues across cultures that connect us locally, regionally, and internationally. Decreasing food insecurity enhances knowledge and educates on the benefits the art of healthy eating brings for improved health benefits.

With the use of graphics, animation and selected items we invite interest, as a cross-culture exchange, that promotes the necessity of gardening and farming. This is a scheme to help create a desire for eating healthy wholesome foodstuffs. The purpose of this unique design project is to highlight, educate and encourage Healthy Eating overall.
